Özgür Bal Program, Speakers Leave a Comment

In less than a month we close down our Call for Presentations and begin the process of selecting the 15 breakout sessions which will be part of the OpenInfra Days Nordics conference program. Take this opportunity to share your knowledge with the Nordic Open Infrastructure community and join us in Stockholm 2-3 October!

Who can submit presentations?

Anyone is free to submit presentations to OpenInfra Days Nordics. In fact, one of the most interesting parts of receiving submissions from a wide range of presenters is our ability to create a compelling program which contains many different aspects of our core topic. Our community is eager to learn about all aspects of development, use, troubleshooting and new approaches to open infrastructure so don’t hesitate to submit your presentation.

So far, we have received submissions from CEOs, lawyers, developers, team leaders and even law enforcement detectives.

Which topics should my talk cover?

Your talk should cover a subject related to open infrastructure, which you think is worth being presented.

Here are a few suggestions to help you get started:

  • AI Artificial Intelligence
  • DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Containers (Kubernetes, Kata Containers, OpenStack & Container, itd.)
  • Public & Private Cloud
  • Hybrid Cloud
  • High-Performance Computing (HPC)
  • Edge Computing
  • NFV
  • Security of open infrastructure and cloud environment

Who will select the final talks?

Ever since this event was born in 2016, back when it was called OpenStack Days Nordic, we have used an advisory team to help us select all the talks for our breakout sessions. The advisory team has been put together by polling for interest within our community and applications has always been open for anyone who wants to join the team.

The event is organised by the community – for the community and by that logic the community should select the majority of the content. That is something we strongly believe in.

This years advisory team consists of:

Nicolae Paladi – Computer Security Researcher from RISE
Kenneth Tan – Executive from Sardina Systems
Elena Lindqvist – Cloud System Manager from Ericsson.
